Our Work

We have unmatched experience in cross-border business and class action litigation.

Our lawyers have acted for plaintiffs and defendants in class actions in Canada and the United States spanning antitrust and competition, securities, technology, banking and financial, retail, medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and indigenous rights.

Orr Taylor has served as sole or co-lead counsel in five of the largest national antitrust class actions, involving allegations of Bread price fixing, Generic Drug price fixing, Amazon anticompetitive pricing, DRAM price fixing, and Canned Tuna price fixing. We have also represented a corporate defendant in an antitrust class action, and one of the world’s largest retailers as a class member contesting the national class action settlement and opt-out regime.

In addition to our robust class action portfolio, we also maintain a strong complex commercial litigation practice. Our lawyers have trial experience with issues as diverse as contract, tort, product liability, securities, fraud, and libel. We also have experience with arbitrations and regulatory tribunals, including the Canadian Competition Tribunal.

Our firm has the unique ability to fight for our clients’ most important business interests in any forum, across an array of jurisdictions.
